Training Operations Manager
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Car + Health + 10% Bonus
Here at Babcock International we're looking for a Training Operations Manager to play a key role in the delivery of training contracts at HMS Collingwood.
As the Training Operations Manager you will be responsible managing resource, budget, governance, continuous improvement and delivery output. Reporting into the Head of Training Operations you will work collaboratively with other managers to synergise operations and improve delivery. As a leader of change you will inspire others and be comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels of the internal and client organisation.
The Role
  • Manage and monitor the Training Delivery service for type A training (contractor specific delivery) to ensure it meets the needs of the contract
  • Co-ordinate the management, planning, delivery and assurance including SQEP maintenance of all contracted training delivery services across areas of responsibility
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of training services across the geographic scope of FOAP(T)
  • Achieve contracted budgeted revenue, profit and cash flows and delivery output for pan contract Training Delivery
What do I need to do the job?
You'll need:
  • Strong background in Teaching, Education, or Learning & Development with a Professional level qualification within the training/education sector.
  • ILM Level 5 Certificate (Coaching and Mentoring in Management) or equivalent, or comparable experience.
  • Proven track record of strategic and operational management, preferably within a commercial training organisation.
  • Proven ability to deliver set objectives in a complex multi stakeholder environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of delivering against a challenging business strategy.
