Assistant Project Planner

AWE are currently recruiting for Assistant Project Planners, Our Project Planners work within the Project Controls teams across the business on a broad spectrum of projects, ranging from site maintenance, highly technical scientific and engineering trials and analysis, to major capital construction and refurbishment projects, all within some of the most tightly regulated environments possible.
The level of complexity along with the unique aspects of the projects contribute to the high level of satisfaction felt by our planners and project control teams as they support something that is truly exceptional. Location - Reading area
Package - £25,000 - £30,000 subject to skills and experience

The Assistant Planner programme is a development position where, after learning the fundamentals of Project Planning and Controls, you will be offered a series of placements within one of the project controls teams, continuously supported and guided by an experienced Project Planner who will tailor your activities to suit your individual needs. On successful completion of the Assistant Planner programme, you will be offered a position as a Project Planner on one of the varied projects that we support, joining the team of Project Controls professionals supporting this one of a kind business.
You will have;
- A good awareness of project management
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to read and interpret charts and spreadsheets
- The drive to apply yourself to this personal development programme
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy
Individuals interested in this permanent opportunity will be required to be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
