Our Client is a Global leader in the development of cutting edge defence and security technologies, they are looking for a Java Developer to join the dynamic application development team in building, enhancing and maintaining strategic web solutions.

Key Responsibilities
*Design, code, test, debug, document, and implement changes to new and existing solutions.
*Perform unit testing of code to assure the delivery of a product that meets the user's specifications.
*Provide technical advice to technical leads, assisting them with high level planning and cost justifications that impact new or existing software applications.
*Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced team members in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing changes to new or existing applications.
*Work individually and as part of a team based across the UK and US to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.

Key Skills:
*Proven and relevant experience of Java/Java EE software development experience.
*Solid SQL experience with understanding of data models in complex Oracle databases.
*Experience of report development and building solutions to support performant reports.
*Strong verbal communication skills, a strong team player; able to accept and deliver ambiguous tasks.
*A high level of collaboration with project stakeholders such as the programme manager, release manager, and business analysts while delivering solutions.
*A demonstrated ability to learn and implement new technologies collaboratively with peer developers.
*Ability to contribute unsolicited ideas with the team for continuous improvement
*Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, fun environment

Salary: to £40,000 DOE + Bonus+Pension
