AWE has several vacancies available for Testers to join a growing team undergoing a period of transformation. These positions would be ideal for someone who has similar experience in a commercial environment and is looking to develop their career.

As a Tester you will be delivering phases of testing for assigned projects, undertaking test design, planning and execution as appropriate. Day to day you will accountable for ensuring testing is carried out to agreed corporate standards, producing required documentation to support all phases of the system development process. You will make sure delivered services are formally tested and signed off prior to implementation.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with writing test plans, scripts, completion, incident and progress reports. You will take a structured and effective approach to work with strong verbal and written communication skills.

To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for you to have:

• ISTQB/ISEB Testing Foundation Certification (essential)
• Experience in using tools for managing test execution and incidents (such as HP Quality Center)
• Working knowledge of computing and IS/IT trends and technologies
• Experience of working with CAD tools and Oracle e-Business suite
