This is an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Manager to join one of the UKs largest Airlines. As a Supplier Manager you will have the chance to play a critical role to the enhancement of the companys distribution system. This opportunity is based at Waterside, Heathrow. My Client are looking for a Commercial Supplier Manager with a strong aviation background who is looking for a contract role. As a Supplier Manager you will be ensuring that any expenditure is allocated efficiently and business processes are in place to ensure effective cost management, whilst delivering existing and new capabilities to enable incremental revenue and enhanced retailing of their products.

Job Description

· Develop and evaluate potential new distribution, channel and payment channels, innovations and technologies for possible future role within the distribution strategy.
· Provides proactive and constructive input to projects across Commercial teams including input to the NDC and GDS commercial negotiation.
· Works with airline partners and sales to develop Integrated Channel & Distribution Strategies for the client and joint Business.
· Ensure all decisions are compatible with overall business needs, objectively evaluating business cases against the impact on costs and potential competitor reaction and ensuring adequate monitoring of initiatives.
· Ensure all business processes are documented, communicated to required parties and understood to ensure audit compliance.

Skills/Qualifications
· Strong understanding of GDS (Global Distribution Systems) and NDC (New Distribution Capability)
· Is able to understand the complexities of the business and those of the systems to develop future systems and processes to improve the business results.
· Good business understanding, particularly of airline economics, agency and intermediary relationships around distribution.
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Exceptional Customer Service.
