You will be working a programme that is a major element in the company's strategic development and you will be joining an expanding team based in Harlow.

The programme is an n-tier, distributed application, built around the principles of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). It comprises 100+ user screens and 10+ business services.

Working within an Agile delivery framework, the Software Engineers will implement code, meeting agreed standards, using continuous integration and Test Driven Development to ensure quality and test coverage is achieved. Once coding is complete, the software engineers will support the review, test, integration and sell-off activities of the component.

Required Skills:

• Excellent core Java skills
• Strong experience in a dynamic JEE development environment
• Proven OO skills, implementing established design patterns and best practice
• Experience in UML 2.0 to describe design and model technical solutions
• An understanding of the SOA principles of loose coupling, Enterprise Service Bus and Web Services
