About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Landing Site Surveyor to join our Babcock Onshore team. Onshore is a helicopter operator, approved training organisation and maintenance provider with design, production and completion capabilities based at Gloucestershire Airport, serving the Air Ambulance, HEMs, Police, Offshore and Renewables sectors. Aircrafts are located around the UK and Ireland in support of customer operations.

You will be responsible for conducting landing site surveys and creating reports that inform appropriate construction and equipping of such sites to meet Class 1 Performance Standards for aircraft operated by Babcock. You will co-ordinate and maintain the Babcock Onshore landing site directory. You must also respond to market demand in delivering landing site surveying services to potential customers including hospitals, charities and other helicopter operators where required. Additional task will include Technical Crewmember training in support of existing and new Air Ambulance contracts.

You will be integrated into a customer focused team, where your contribution will have a significant impact in the service delivery to our customer. Having regular interface with the Business Services Manager.

What do I need to do the role?

  • The person fulfilling must have worked within the aviation sector
  • Must have experience of working with an external client
  • Proficient in using word and excel
  • Proven track record in a training role

    What else do I need to know?
  • Salary is up to £35,000, dependent on experience.
  • 40 hours per week standard hours
  • The role involves travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
