About the role
Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit a Survival Equipment Senior Supervisor on a full time, permanent basis.

You will ensure that the contracted output is met and the suitable qualified personnel are available to perform all site corrective and preventative maintenance which includes fitting flying helmets, clothing and flying suits.

Main Tasks

  • Ensuring that all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner, on time and to the highest standard.
  • Checking that all equipment required for tasking is available and reporting all deficiencies
  • The production of pre-printed work cards and maintenance procedures
  • The overall safety and security of personnel under his/her control.
  • Ensuring that all possible measures are taken to prevent FOD within aircraft and associated equipment.
  • Monitoring the work carried out by employees under his/her control to ensure that they conform to current regulations and that documentation is promptly and accurately completed.
  • Monitoring the handling, distribution and satisfaction of engineering instructions


What do I need to do the role?

We are looking for extensive industry experience, Training in relevant discipline to City and Guilds Level or level 3 equivalent, experience within a Supervisory position within a related engineering environment, Supervisors in Aviation, SMS 'A, Full Driving License and Q-SE-AC/Q-SE-AV-Med.

What else do I need to know?

  • All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be subject to satisfactory security clearance which includes 3 years reference checks. Verification of any qualifications/passport/licences must be shown at interview stage.
