RAMS Engineer

Location: Belgium

Rate: Up to 500€/day, depending on experience.

Duration: 6 months initially (possibility of extension upon completion of this initial period)

Hours per week: 40 hours

Overview: The role of the specialist engineer is that of a cross-functional expert in each of the entity's projects or product lines.

Main responsibilities

By respecting the conditions and specifications required of the customer as well as the procedures (internal notes, ASME, DIN, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, VCA ...) and by managing the risks, the specialised engineer ensures:

• the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of fundamental know-how in its engineering discipline (s)
• the development of tools, programs, models, calculation tools and the development of documentation needed to use this know-how effectively and support projects and products of the entity
• design and verification of the conceptualisation of components or equipment
• coordination of subcontractors (outsourcing engineering)
• development and monitoring of technical documentation related to its field
• in its field of expertise, the establishment of technical specifications for the equipment according to the list of equipment, the engineering performed, the contact with the suppliers ...
• the support and the assistance for the technical comparison of proposals, technical discussions with suppliers, negotiation of contracts
• monitoring and verification of engineering, documentation and / or drawings
• monitoring of any problems related to any phase of execution
• participation, if any, of the project engineer, in meetings with the client
• participation in the training of the client, in his discipline
