We are looking for a Digital Forensics Trainer to deliver a world class digital forensics (DF) training programme as part of an innovative managed service.

The role will initially be providing training in London as the managed service mobilises with the inaugural customer, who is the UK’s largest Law Enforcement Agency. Your responsibilities will include the delivery of face to face classroom based training, to a wide range of frontline staff who will typically have very little prior DF knowledge. As the service scales you will be expected to take ownership of the training materials and develop them accordingly.

You will be required to uphold our company values, principally focussed on business excellence and success through customer relationships via a strong sense of common purpose in the team. Your aim will be to ensure overall customer satisfaction, identify process improvements, create solutions and work with the customer to make the training the centrepiece of the service. You will also be required to assist in growing the account by providing the same service to other customers.

Ideally you will have a law enforcement, military or technology vendor background with significant exposure to Digital Forensics as either a practitioner or trainer, and be familiar the DF technologies used in Tier 1 or frontline environments. It is essential that you have recognised training qualifications and exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

Hardware: Understanding of the system architecture of a mobile phone, tablet and traditional PC 

Software: An understanding of the user features and workings of MICROSOFT WINDOWS, LINUX, ANDROID and iOS operating systems as encountered by a consumer.

Tools & Methodologies: Competent in the operation of DF tools such as Cellebrite UFED, MSAB XRY or Radio Tactics ACESO, ADF Triage, SiraView, Amped

Applications: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) 

Markets: UK Law Enforcement

Other: Knowledge of digital forensics with the associated standards and governance. Understands investigative techniques and the links between people, processes and technology in such an environment; Good at improvisation; Patient; Strong problem solving skills with the ability to provide practical solutions; Able to communicate at all levels in the customer organisation; Used to working in a disciplined environment where contract revenue is linked to the timely achievement of performance targets; Willingness to work in an environment where you may be expected to work out of normal business hours.

Desirable Skill Requirements:

Knowledge of Public Sector training accreditation; Appreciation of ISO 17025 requirements and other standards in relation to Forensic Science; Used to working on secure sites.
