IT Deployment Engineer - Contract - £300 per day - London  - DV Cleared Role

Job Description

We are looking for an IT Deployment Engineer to work within the Programme’s Deployment Team. The team builds and delivers the secure IT service across Government.

Working as an IT Deployment Engineer you will carry out installations of both Network, EUC devices and peripherals; you’ll be responsible for investigating and resolving common technical issues.  These are varied and demanding roles for intelligent and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

-       installing to order Network and EUC devices to quality standards, adhering to end to end processes

-       installing and upgrade equipment covering network devices, desktops, peripherals and OS builds

-       ensure configuration management is maintained

-       apply asset management as part of the deployment process

-       ensure quality installation and testing of Network and EUC devices out to customer sites to an agreed schedule

-       update processes and training materials, as required

-       train end users / super users, as required

-       provide third line support, covering installed networks, desktops and peripherals

-       diagnose and resolve incidents and problems

-       work collaboratively with other teams on the programme

-       adopt and adapt to continuous improvement requirements as more Partners come on-board with the new technology
