OME (Ordnance Munitions and Explosives) Engineer required for an exciting opportunity in the Gloucestershire area. This is a permanent opportunity where the successful candidate will be required to be involved with a large defence programme immediately.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must already hold a valid Security Clearance to SC Level (as a minimum).
£45,000 - £55,000 p/a + benefits
The responsibilities include:
Hazard identification, risk assessments, hazard log production, safety case reporting (specifically OME Safety reports), ALARP arguments etc.
The candidate will have Ordance Munitions and Explosives (OME) experience and have a good understanding of explosives hazards and related control measures.
The candidate will ideally come from a military background working with munitions/ ammunition however this is not mandatory.
