Telephony Coordinator

LOCATION: Central London

DURATION: 6 - 12 Months Contract - option to extend based on personal performance

DAILY RATE: Highly Competitive - dependent on candidate's level of experience

CONDITIONS: Security Cleared environment - DV Clearance level

Role Profile

Capita TRACS are keen to recruit a skilled Telephony Coordinator to join a talented Telephony team and support the daily management of the incident service requests queues and telephony queries.

This is varied role that will require to you to fulfil the following key tasks:

  • Attend stakeholder meetings providing a high level of attendance on key projects.
  • Represent the team on collaborate ventures.
  • Build and manage relationships with external 3rd parties.
  • Proactively identify and champion opportunities for service improvement within the team i.e. engaged in identification and mitigation of risks.
  • Management of the shared mailbox and resolve group.
  • Be prepared and willing to learn how to assist other areas of unified communications team and form part of any surge capability within the team to assist understaffed areas.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for out of hours support.
  • Assist with provisioning, management and fault diagnosis (but not limited to) ADSL, analogue, ISDN services, management of telephony frame rooms.
  • Assist team lead in actively developing relationships with key business users.
  • Provide team support as needed, deputising at meetings, ensuring messages are cascaded to the wider team, providing admin support where required.
  • Act as lead on new projects ensuring the product coming into service is viable, fit for purpose and supportable.
  • Manage varying work packages as set out by the team lead, providing high level updates to management in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with and provide direct support to the mobile user community ensuring all requests are met in an expedient manner. Work with SME to ensure document libraries are current and accurate.
  • Person Profile

    We are very flexible on who we recruit to our team as we are more interested in what you can bring to the table. We like team players with a proven background of working within a Telephony helpdesk/support environment and have a good understanding of Telephony technologies.
