About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Material Planning Data Analyst.
You will report directly to the Senior Supply Chain Manager who is accountable for the Supply Chain for all Babcock DSG Sites in the South of the UK.
You will support the Senior Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Managers and Material Planners to collect, analyse, collate and report raw business data into presentable Management Information.
You'll be responsible for the integrity of the data in the ERP and other IT systems used by the Material Planners.
  • Key link between Central Supply Chain, Site Supply Chain, and Operations personnel
  • No direct line management.
  • Provide data analysis support, advice and guidance to the supply chain in order they may fulfil their obligations and duties
  • Develop excellent and effective communication lines with the Site Supply Chain teams
  • Making sure all of the wider team make full use of data, system capabilities and best practice processes that are available
  • Utilise business MRP systems in order to check stock levels, identification of short falls and stock out
  • Raising local purchase orders and supporting invoice queries
What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to be an ERP/MRP and Microsoft Excel SME and have the ability to support critical business projects/programmes to enable the delivery of material solutions across the teams.
You'll need to have h igh level of Data analysis experience, high level of numeracy and accuracy and higher level IT skills - IT literate (advanced Microsoft Excel).
