Solutions Architect in London

Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major Public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a "Solutions Architect_" for an initially 6+ months contract based in London.

Role: Solutions Architect

Contract Length: 6+ months

Location: Finsbury Dials, London

IR35: Outside IR35

Minimum Requirement:

Technically credible with proven experience in

• Creating high level designs for complex systems in an agile way from fluid requirements and engaging multiple organisations
• Analytical experience to elicit architectural and product requirements
• Identity management, preferably federation patterns and OIDC
• Working in an agile delivery environment with both internal and external suppliers
• Working in a delivery environment that includes both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
• Very strong influencing skills and experience of getting delivery teams to work together. As well as strong facilitation and negotiation skills
• Able to bring to bear extensive knowledge of architectural patterns, technology components, vendor solutions and emerging technology trends on digital solution development in one or more industries.
• A confident written and verbal communicator, able to clearly explain digital ideas to non-technical audiences and work effectively with non-technical colleagues and business executives.
• A respected technical design authority for digital transformation initiatives, practiced at managing technology issues and risks, able to deliver a responsive, reliable, manageable and secure technology solution.
• A proven track record in leading the implementation of digital architecture solutions for blue-chip organisations; identifying, architecting and implementing contemporary digital technology solutions in support of digital transformation initiatives
• Adept at driving forward change and challenging groups of programme teams and stakeholders
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues of all seniority levels
• Ability to mediate between multiple suppliers to ensure continuity of detailed designs under the authored high-level design.
• Ability to move between the big picture and detail with fluidity and traceability.
• Delivery of microservice and component architectures
• Delivery of configuration architectures
• Delivery of API driven architectures
