Network Engineer

Primary duties are to implement several small local projects:
*Plan and implement 802.1x on three LANS
*Implement changes to routing on one LAN
*Installation, firmware upgrades and configuration of DELL N2000 Ethernet stacked s witches on two LANS
*Implementation of guidelines for securing ethernet switches on 4 switch stacks.
*Setup and configuration of Palo Alto PA820
*Update network diagrams where needed.
*Produce configuration documentation for all said changes.

Secondary duties will include support to troubleshooting other local IT Incident s & Problems - Since the site is small with only 3 local technicians, you may also have to occasionally help out with tasks that the other technicians are involved with.


Skills and Experience
*Installation and configuration of Enterprise Ethernet Switches
*Design & implementation of 802.1x on LANS for various network attached devices.
*Design & implementation of LACP on Ethernet LANs, including high availability on trunk links
