IT Infrastructure and Support Adminstrator

Our established client require an experienced SC Cleared Infrastructure and Support Administrator to support daily operational requirements within the IT department that is responsible for the leading the design and implementation of IT Infrastructure with a strong focus on networks, Systems and Security. Indicative tasks: manage company networks, work with internal team and external providers to provide good service, ensure support is given in line with company policy and standards, assist with IT audits, provide input to IT service improvement, support and input into IT projects, maintain strict change control, give technical guidance and support to customer IT systems, maintain and update IT technical documentation on networks e.g. plans & diagrams, manage and monitor sub-contractors making changes to the network, provide support to production environments. Essential skills/knowledge: strong technical support background: ideally worked within a large global it provider. WAN/VPN management, Firewall management (CISCO ASA/Juniper), Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Networking: WAN/LAN, tcpip, DNS, DHCP,VPN, switch and VLAN Config. Good verbal / client skills. Ideally holds ITIL Foundation and any CISCO certs desirable e.g. CISCO CCNA. And understanding of System Admin, Windows Server 2016, 2012/R2, 2008/R2, Virtualisation: MS Hyper-V, Hyper-V Manager, Replication, MS Failover Clustering. Candidates who apply must hold SC Security Clearance or be able to achieve the required level of clearance.
