Systems Engineer

Our client based in Bristol is a major defence/aerospace company. They have undertaken a large long term project working on a radar system and need a number of Systems & Software Engineers to assist.

Total project length is estimated to be 3 years +.

Experience:

* Experience in Systems Engineering in UK, preferred in military projects (MoD).

* Experience in Systems & Software within a defence/aerospace environment 3-5 years minimum.

* Experience in Radar Technology or Telecommunication is preferred but not essential.

* Experience in marine/naval projects ins a bonus but not essential

* Requirements management background is an asset (DOORS, V- Model, etc)

Responsiblites will include:

* Production of Platform Interface Control Documentation

* Production of Installation System Specifications, Ship's Surveys, and Equipment Guidance Packs for each class of ship

* Production of Factory Acceptance Tests, Harbour Acceptance Tests, and Ship Acceptance Tests

* Requirements management for the SRD and Acceptance Tests.

Due to the defence nature of this work candidates must be eligable to gain SC clearance.
