About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner to join our Babcock UK Onshore & Offshore. We are a helicopter operator, approved training organisation and maintenance provider with design, production and completion capabilities, serving the Air Ambulance, HEMs, Police, Offshore and Renewables sectors. Aircrafts are located around the UK and Ireland in support of customer operations.

The key elements will be to manage the HR aspects of the trade union relationship including the annual negotiated salary review. You will be responsible for the relationship between HR and the business area and own the client relationship. You will support organisation effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions aligned to business area strategy. Lead the HR vision for the business area, including role modelling great personal and team leadership. You will work closely with all HR colleagues to ensure that tools and policies are aligned, enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance. You must understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose the underlying issues and build the case for change with stakeholders. Build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change including dependencies, risk, potential scenarios ad options to mitigate.

The opportunity will give you the chance to work closely with key stakeholders, not only within the immediate business unit but the wider aviation sector.

What do I need to do the role?
You must have extensive relevant HR experience (generalist or specialist) gained in large complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders as well as working within a Unionised environment. Demonstrate experience of managing negotiated pay review cycles from concept to implementation as well as providing examples around how strategic aims have been met at a senior level.
