LOCATION: Mons, Belgium

CLIENT: NATO

START DATE: June 2019

CONTRACT: Consultant

SALARY: Negotiable daily rate

CLEARANCE: NATO Secret

TASKS:

Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals in respect to IT Service Management

Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts

Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals

Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation

Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content

Manage updates and revisions to technical literature through change management

Publish documentation on enterprise information portals and document handling systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful candidate will hold a university degree in information systems engineering, information technology or related discipline. Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of particular abilities or experience of interest to the Agency
• A post-secondary training in IT will be considered an asset
•  3 years of Technical Writing experience required
•  Must hold an ITIL Foundation Level Certificate

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

•  The position requires excellent verbal and written communications skills
•  Highly organized, deadline oriented, quality focused
•  Advanced skills in MS Office; Visio, Adobe Acrobat
•  A solid understanding of usability principles in the development of software
•  Knowledge of HTML and/or content management software
