Job Details
The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for managing all mechanical services, equipment and personnel as follows:
- Maintenance and inspection of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
- Repairs of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
- Overseeing the generator mechanic and maintenance tasks
- Overseeing the plumbing and maintenance tasks
- The HVAC Supervisor will be expected to also help in performing some of the Works Order Management System daily tasking’s and should be able to provide technical expertise where / when necessary.
- The HVAC Supervisor will be responsible for accounting of all equipment / materials located and or issued to the Mechanical Department
- The HVAC Supervisor will lead the coordination of producing estimates for Minor New Works
- The HVAC Supervisor will ensure H & S procedures are followed involving safe working practices, including Health & Safety hazards, and the handling and disposal of all waste materials.
- Attend regular meetings with the client as required.
- Other tasking to support the O&M Manager will be requested in addition to above
Essential:
- The HVAC Supervisor must be of a Technical status and have previous Supervisory experience,
however candidates with extensive experience but without the relevant qualification may well be considered with preferably having worked in HVAC / Refrigeration Industries.
- Experience following written (English Language) based client instructions and scopes of work. (NATO 3333)
- Must be capable of obtaining NATO Secret (NS) Security Clearance from their National Security Authority
- Be an accomplished user of Microsoft office applications IE; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Supervising a team (preferably multi-national) with regards daily tasks and future planning for anticipated changes in daily work.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Experience of working on a military camp in a similar environment
- Experience of working on operations in austere remote sites or in developing nations.
- Previous experience in execution of deployed projects at multi national military locations.
