Software Security Developer

A market leading secure communication solutions are currently searching for a driven and proactive Software Security Developer to join their expert team. This interesting new opportunity is focused on the development of in-house software applications, supplying into government, large enterprises and finance markets around the world.

In this role you would be responsible for assisting all security-related aspects of these developments, as well as continuing the worldwide roll-out of the current and new product ranges, influencing internal teams and external customers.

There are currently several product lines that depend on extensive infrastructure of server and network components. If you are a highly competent, hands-on individual then this position will fit you, it is also important to hold hands-on experience with code, network and system level security.

It is important that you have a software, security background, understanding the software life-cycle, and the ability to work autonomously. The successful applicant will complement the existing development and customer teams, defining and implementing all aspects of product and company security technologies and processes.

The key skills they are looking for:

• Proven experience within a security engineer role related to mobile or web applications.
• Manual code experience, languages such as Java, C++, Objective C.
• Comfortable working in a mixed platform environment (Linux, mobile platforms, etc).

Anything further experience is an added bonus to strengthen your application:

• Familiarity with modern server technologies and architectures, including Docker and micro services.
• Knowledge of authentication, OWASP, TLS and certificates.
• Knowledge with any common code/security testing or development tools.

Must be eligible and willing to undertake, UK security clearance vetting.
