Roke is a highly respected world class organisation with a strong existing client base in the UK public sector, the business is now seeking to diversify further into the private sector. Roke currently has a healthy pipeline in the aerospace and industrial sectors and as the Client Manager you will take the lead in creating and implementing a sales and channel development campaign to deliver further growth.

What will your role look like?

Areas of responsibility:

  • Development, implementation, execution and growth of direct and channel partner sales campaign.
  • Managing direct and channel sales/bids and quotes in line with company process.
  • Managing direct client and channel partner requirements and expectations.
  • Manage Sales Engineer interactions with partners and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure successful bids.
  • Achieving allocated sales order and profit targets, pipeline management, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Provision of market intelligence, support, feed and actively contribute to the Roke CRM systems.

What would we like from you?

Knowledge / Experience / Requirements:

  • Experienced in direct/channel sales of services and products ideally from the Industrial Inspection and Aerospace markets.
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set with a well-rounded knowledge of direct and channel sales strategy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications and negotiating skills, including the ability to present to executives.
  • The ability to be effective in both local and remote team leadership
  • Proven track record of successful direct and channel sales execution.
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel and on occasion stay away from home.

Security

Due to the nature of this position, candidates must be willing to undergo, and eligible to achieve HMG security clearance (prior to appointment). As a result, candidates should ideally be a British Citizen however you can hold another nationality and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
