We specialise in partnership solutions, people skills and providing stability giving our clients powerful solutions and focused approach.

We are currently engaged by our client who is in the Central government industry during an exciting time as they have been commissioned to aid the planning as well as the withdrawal of Britain from the EU. The Client has requested us to provide assistance in regards to increasing the level of project and programme management expertise currently within the organisation.

Role Profile

As the project Manager you will look to cover the delivery across the different workstreams and supporting any potential delivery gaps that may arise. The project manager would be situated within the EU Exit Business Readiness team as they are supporting a number of delivery bodies in preparation for Britain’s potential exit from the EU. In turn this will ensure the adoption and embedding of agreed project standards and tools within our Central Government Policy workforce. RPS are providing a team of experienced project managers to complete the individual engagements. The Project Manager will be required to facilitate and support the production of status reports, plans, RAID log (mitigation/escalation management) and other products as requested.

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience of running projects or programmes with multiple workstreams. 
  • Willingness to create project management products where necessary.  
  • Experience of building strong teams from diverse and distributed organisations.  
  • Experience of delivering effective leadership and management controls. 
  • Significant stakeholder management experience to a senior level.  
  • Demonstrable experience of governance and senior decision making.  
  • Demonstrable experience of providing support, guidance and coaching for project teams.  
  • Experience of implementation action plans to drive the project successfully. 
  • Experience of managing the final closure of projects. 
  • Demonstrable experience of driving multiple projects forward to successful delivery.  
  • Broad understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools.  
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal.
