System Architect

Our client is a large provider of technical services to the government and defence sector who have recently been awarded a contract to deliver on a large programme focusing on the development of a new communication and information system. They require a security cleared Systems Architect to support this process on a long term temporary basis of 9 to 12 months, potentially longer.

You will be dealing closely with internal clients, managed service teams and design/delivery units, and will be responsible for the following:

• Understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution
• Identifying evaluating and recommending options
• Processing detailed component specifications and translating them into detailed designs
• Selecting appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensuring they are applied effectively

Suitable candidates must hold valid SC clearance and have a knowledge of radio and antennas, along with the ability to work in a fast moving and robust environment.

In addition you must be immediately available or on a notice period of no longer than two weeks.
