My client is a market leading and world renowned Defence Engineering company that is currently looking to recruit a Researcher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is a genuine industry leader. The Role

• Project management of research projects
• Undertaking research and design activities on your own and as part of an international team.
• Monitoring supplier and technology roadmaps and identifying cutting edge and future technologies for investment
• Collaborating with suppliers and researchers of Navigation Sensors and related technologies
• Producing documentation to support research projects, such as commercial bids and statements of work
• Designing and conducting laboratory tests
• Conducting analysis studies using theoretical knowledge, modelling tools and laboratory data

Required Skills

• A technical background in a relevant science and/or engineering discipline such as physics or electronic engineering, a PhD would be seen as highly advantageous
• A passion for research and development of emerging technologies
• Strong report writing abilities
• Good presentation and communication skills
