Analytics Solution Architect

A defense leading organisation focused on providing technological and scientific expertise are in search of an ambitious Analytics Solution Engineer to join their proactive team of experts. They operate primarily in the defence, security and aerospace markets and our customers are predominantly government organisations.

Specialising in maintaining and developing a leading-edge Data Analytics capability to support projects across the whole company, the successful candidate would join a pragmatic and hugely experienced team with perpetual opportunities for development, growth and progression.

If you were to join this team, the responsibilities you could expect would be some of the following;

• Technical Leadership of bids and projects
• Leadership within business (an Integrated Delivery Team (IDT)) representing an enduring capability in Data Analytics
• Technical Sales - supporting the Business Development team to discuss possible solutions with customers
• Governance, review of customer deliverables
• Support formulation of strategy for Data Analytics

They are really looking for a candidate with a good track record of technical leadership of Data Analytics projects, someone who has in depth experience and knowledge of the engineering, analysis and architecture of Big Data systems. Experience across the full product development lifecycle from requirements to user testing and prior experience leading agile teams is also highly desired.

They should also hold hands on experience in one of the following:

• Big Data engineering
• Machine Learning
• Natural Language Processing
• Computer Vision

The ideal candidate will also have understanding and experience in some of the following:

• University Honours Degree Qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Familiarity with a DevOps environment
• More general systems engineering design and implementation processes
• Enthusiastic and willing to work flexibly to be part of a high-performing team
• Proven experience of working in a consultancy role, focused on customer needs and requirements or equivalent engineering role with customer/stakeholder exposure and influence.
• Excellent verbal and written technical communications skills.

Due to the nature of the work, Security Clearance is required: Must be UK national - Security Cleared (SC) and eligible for (Developed Vetting) DV clearance.
