About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Instructional Designer.
You will be responsible for the design and development of high quality, interactive training interventions through a blended learning approach including, Face to Face Theory and Practical Learning, e-Learning and Digital Media
You will design, develop and update course content and learning solutions. Work with Subject Matter Experts to produce high quality and effective training materials to enhance the learning experience for all learning styles. Create aims with measurable objectives that match the course content. Create accurate storyboards and communicate relevant and timely information to the stakeholders and out shared services CBT team. Revise and re-write existing course content Create performance and assessment tools. Review assessment documentation to ensure that it reflects current training objectives and update where necessary.
What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to have a formal Instructional design qualification with strong proven experience and proven experience of producing effective training materials, (e.g. eLearning, trainer guides & lesson plans) and knowledge of course development methods (e.g. ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy and objective writing).
Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
  • Ideally some experience within the Automotive sector
  • Computer literate and proficient in use of MS Office applications.
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain working relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage own work load.
What else do I need to know?
  • You should hold or have the ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
