About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Contract Administrator for a 9 month Fixed term contract to join the team.
You will be working as an administrator within a busy Central Administration Team assisting and supporting internal customers i.e., Production Managers, Contracts Managers, Sales, Quality, Finance, etc., whilst also providing administration support to Major Contracts.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to needs to be a friendly enthusiastic person with a good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, who enjoys working within a busy team and is looking to gain experience and a good understanding of all administration tasks within a busy Central Administration Department.
Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
  • Experience of logging and tracking enquiries to successful completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good internal relationships.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good customer and supplier relationships.
  • Ability to act as a credible representative of the company to external parties.
  • Experience of working in an automotive / engineering environment is desirable
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to diffuse any conflict from the 'caller'

Lastly, you'll need to be able to deploy good communication and influencing skills as you'll work closely with the client and our internal and external stakeholders.
What else do I need to know?
  • Good standard of written English
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
  • ECDL/ CLAIT or intermediate Micro-soft Office Skills.
  • Full Clean Driving license
  • This role could be considered for flexible working.
