Under the leadership of the PTA, specific responsibilities include:

  • The development and execution of ICC strategy;
  • Day to day management of the A2AD ICC element leads;
  • Coordination of A2AD ICC tasking;
  • Coordination of A2AD ICC stakeholder management;
  • Leadership of the evaluation for industry and academia responses to concept development;
  • Liaison with other Dstl ICC partners;
  • Development and maintenance of key project documentation.

The following skills are essential for the delivery of this role:

  • Managing the distributed project staff and resources on a full time basis;
  • A broad understanding of the S&T subjects and approaches required in a Counter-A2AD programme;
  • An understanding of the military requirements of an A2AD / Counter-A2AD project;

  • Leadership and planning of complex activities;
  • The ability to accept responsibility for the development of the A2AD activity;
  • The ability to facilitate workshops and project review meetings.
