About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join the team.
The post holder will be responsible for the submission of accurate, high quality and timely financial information to Group, Central and relevant external parties, ensuring that all statutory and legal tax requirements are met. Nick is open to receive applications from recently qualified accountants who may have worked in practice. It's not essential for candidates to have a construction industry background. The role reports to the Project Controller but Nick will review applicants.

What do I need to do the role?
  • Looking for candidates with drive and an innovative approach who are career focused.
  • Demonstrable career progression. Resilient person who can overcome obstacles.

Would also like you to be qualified and have experience in all or some of these areas:
  • Qualified accountant
  • Good business/process analysis skills.
  • Strong management, influencing and communication skills at all levels.
  • Experience of dealing with senior management.

Lastly you will ensure that Company policies are implemented consistently and that core values of the Company concerning people are upheld especially those concerned with fairness, equal opportunity and work-life balance support the Head of Finance, Network Engineering in managing the relationship and helping the process with Internal/External Auditors for that Business Unit.
