Do you want to join a leading developer of mission and safety critical equipment in the aerospace and defence industries? My client has a new exciting opportunity for an MRB Administrator to join their rapidly expanding business. The purpose of this role is demonstrating company compliance to the Material Review Board (MRB) process through the delivery of an effective MRB function. It will require managing and helping reduce the level of non-conforming material from Suppliers and the Production shop floor.

About the Role:

*Administration of the company MRB process, including:
1. Identification of root causes behind the failure
2. Timely rejection of return of material to suppliers
3. Identification of source of problems - production, process, supplier quality, design issues, test coverage issues
4. Update to FRACAS and material transactions on MRP system
5. Conduct daily non-conformance MRB triage reviews with the Manufacturing Cells to confirm reasons for rejection and further action required
6. Containment of non-conformance by reviewing all material associated to non-conformance internally and within Supply chain
7. Administration of the MRB system

* Member of the FRACAS team then process and action/investigate as required
* Chair MRB reviews (weekly) to review and action slow moving or problematic MRB items
* Perform MRB reconciliation checks verifying between MRP & Physical
* Perform Inspection Verification Checks verifying between MRP & Physical
* Issue repair justification forms and process items requiring in house repair
* Process items for external repair
* Issue notes for scrap items from MRB for authorisation
* Completion of activities required to satisfy internal/external customer MRB requirements
* Coordination of activities required to close out MRB actions in a timely manner
* Support in the development of company MRP systems in relation to MRB processes
* Monitor, review and action supplier returns responses and update MRB records
* Run weekly fracas report raised on shop floor and mail to key suppliers as required
* To ensure effective and timely issue of monthly reports, KPIs and supporting data to demonstrate the effectiveness of the process
* Support investigations arising from Quality issues through to their documented conclusion, with supporting root cause analysis and solutions to prevent re-occurrence
*To encourage development and improvement in our business processes and measures.
*Effectively manage relationships with customers and suppliers on Quality issues
*To ensure the departmental objectives are achieved in line with the job holders individual objectives
*Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes

You will have the following experience:


*Experience in Process Measurement techniques (e.g. SPC, KPIs, etc .)
*Usage of Quality Management System and Process Mapping Tools
*Has Good communication skills demonstrated both verbally and in writing in the form of presentations recommendations for improvement
*An understanding of costs and financial implications within the quality department
*Self driven and able to monitor own performance effectively to ensure deadlines are met
*Effectively able to manage own time according to the role requirements
*Good application of Microsoft packages and relevant software for the role
