Role Profile

Our undisclosed client in central London is looking to recruit IA Specialist. You will be required to help plan the approach to contract resolutions, taking into account security aspects and our agreed security requirement, to help gather security risk management requirements, work with prospective suppliers to ensure they understand them and to evaluate their proposals and finally, assist with the negotiations concluding with the agreement of an approved Security Management Plan.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple projects concurrently supporting the commercial manager, project manager and business in understand the risks in line with extant policy and process
• Work with client approved risk management methodologies and frameworks
• Build successful, influential working relationships with senior stakeholders
• Conduct technical risks assessments and risk balance cases that address challenging client requirements involving complex IA scenarios
• Establish and manage security working groups and meetings ensuring minutes are logged and risks are appropriately managed and escalated
• Provide and tailor security requirements to programmes and projects, working closely with their accreditors and architects to deliver secure solutions
• Provide appropriate and proportionate security risk management advice to commercial, project staff, and risk owners within the business, including support to Security Working Groups (SWGs) as required
• Identify areas of IA vulnerability and work with Accreditors to produce detailed remediation and risk treatment plans in accordance with client risk appetite.

Skills and Experience Required

• 5-10 years' experience in an information risk management/IA/security role
• IA Qualifications such as ISO27001, NIST, SANS, NCSC guidance publications, ISF Good Practice
• Certifications in Networks, CISSP, CRAMM, CIRM or equivalent
• Candidates should be CCP scheme certified
• A clear understanding of vulnerabilities for instance through certification in Ethical Hacking, Forensics or Pen Testing
• Working knowledge of other security area
