Role Summary/Purpose:
    As an IT graduate, you will be working closely with other members of the IT department, providing support to the wider team whilst utilising your experience to expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short and long-term business goals. Joining us as a graduate, you will be entering a company at the top of its field with excellent opportunities to learn and develop your skills.This role is a 20-month fixed term contract.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Become an integral part of our business systems and analytic support group providing time critical service to the facility
  • You will play an integral role in executing short and/or long-term projects, developing functionality around our ERP business systems
  • Strong bias, although not limited to maintaining and supporting existing web apps with a view to becoming the SME
  • Able to communicate/present to middle and senior management on a regular basis to support key business objectives
  • Providing 1st Level Support
  • Work as integral member of Business systems team
  • New web app development using Github environment
  • Maintain existing web applications written in HTML/Javascript/PHP & MSSQL
  • Troubleshoot with common workplace applications and assist in recommending enhancements
  • Assist in various IT projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Graduated/Due to Graduate with a Business/IT related degree or equivalent knowledge
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of HTML/Javascript/PHP & MSSQL a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrable competence working with databases and web technologies
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to contribute effectively to team-working and group discussions
  • Be proficient in producing clear and precise written reports
  • Ability to work to timescales, achieve personal deadlines and contribute to team objectives
  • Ability to energise teams and create an engaging work environment, promoting inclusiveness.
