We currently require an experienced Project Support Officer to work with our team of Project Managers on a large IT programme of work.
You will provide support to the PM’s as they run multiple projects through their lifecycles of initiation, planning, execution, control and closure.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated and organised and looking to bring their experience to our friendly and supportive team. The role is varied and there is plenty of opportunity to shape and develop the position.
Role Responsibilities
• Project Initiation - Assist in the Proposal Management process.
• Project Finances - Create & maintain data, reports and statistics.
• Project Reporting – Produce and evolve the weekly highlight report.
• Diary & Meeting Management – Arrange meetings with key stakeholders and capture the input and actions at the Project Delivery Health Review.
• Risks and Issues – Input into the governance of the Risks and Issues.
Skills:
Essential Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a PSO role or equivalent
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Desirable Experience:
• Experienced in using Project Planning tools such as MS Project / Primavera.
• Familiarity with Project Management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
