- The Controller role is a senior leadership role supporting the Aviation business. The role of Controller is focused on ensuring the preparation and reporting of timely, high quality and accurate financial reporting information. This role is closely tied to key finance and operational stakeholders in the business and allows the candidate an opportunity to expand business knowledge, as well as leadership and technical skills.
- Responsible for Statutory Reporting including filing of Accounts including Tax Computations in line with IFRS and liaison with external auditors.
- Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOPs and Process Maps to ensure GE reporting is fairly stated
- Monitor and drive account reconciliation completion and review
- Site lead for general ledger accounting, closing and reporting processes
- Lead quarterly Balance sheet reviews, including pre close and deep dives
- Lead cash flow forecasting process and reporting, including inventory, receivables, AP and other key drivers of cash
- Provide guidance and support to global resources on key remote processes
- Key Support for all GE Corporate Audits
- Support the implementation of a consignment inventory strategy and ensure appropriate controls are implemented to mitigate risk
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience with ERP accounting systems
