Quality Assurance Engineer, Stevenage
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer? Have you worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer in the Aerospace or Military industries?
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer in Stevenage. To be considered you will need to have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship and/or relevant academic qualification.
Role:
- Perform Quality Assurance activities in the local MAIT work areas, by ensuring correct implementation of procedures and processes, to ensure quality targets are achieved.
- Lead and influence prevention and quality improvements.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed.
- Management non-conformance and reduce cost of non-quality.
- Actively monitor KPI's.
- Perform and report on Planned and Unplanned Audits.
About You:
- Relevant apprenticeship and/or academic qualification.
- Experience in Aerospace or Military industries.
- Proven experience in a QA function.
- Analytical and good attention to detail.
-Excellent understanding of MAIT process.
Please note, this role is on an initial 6 month contract with an hourly pay rate of £24.
