Business & Project Manager

The Opportunity

To act as the Business & Project Manager focus for relevant business area within the Manufacturing team. * Develop and maintain the associated Demand Management Plans, manage the multiple stakeholder interfaces, including multiple Projects and linkage into the manufacturing activities and deliveries through Heads of Manufacture and the PPCM's. * Ensure a single, consistent and cohesive view of Programme performance is available to the Project teams through accurate reporting of progress in all aspects of manufacturing performance. * The role may also involve activities related to the winning of new and follow-on business

What are we looking for? * You will need to be eligible for Developed Vetting (DV) UK Security Clearance (most comprehensive UK government security clearance process). * Strong project and risk management skills and knowledge. * Sound business judgement. * Technical appreciation of complex problems. * Strong communication and motivational skills. * Project management experience, covering financial, commercial, engineering, manufacturing and project areas.

Performance Indicators * Business Plan targets and stretch targets achieved. * Control of Project Cost at Completion. * Contract margin improvement achieved. * Review mechanisms and processes established and communicated. * Risks registers completed, understood and mitigation launched. * Opportunities registered and benefits realised. * Topical and accurate workload forecast maintained for area. * Strong relationships developed with Stakeholders including Customer(s). * Proposals for new contracts successfully approved.
