Project Manager - Contract - Gloucestershire - Up to £500p/day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will need to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships as will be often embedded in the client's delivery teams working directly with client staff and consultants from other organisations
  • Contribute and collaborate with a range of stakeholders routinely. Being adaptable and flexible to suit the circumstances, being prepared to work either at a high-level or at a detailed level when required
  • Delivery of high quality, innovative solutions
  • Be self-motivated and confident, with strong people skills
  • Be able to make autonomous decisions where appropriate and whilst remaining conscious of the wider policy and implications of those decisions
  • Encourage collaboration
  • Lead by example
  • Have delivery experience either as a project manager, work package manager, or comparable delivery role within a project team
  • Be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Be an excellent communicator, verbal (ability to listen) and written (able to write concisely) including the production (where required) of project documents/products
  • Be focussed on outcomes


Skills / Experience:

  • A background in project management. With a broad range of project/programme management skills. May be a noted expert in a particular functional or industry sector area
  • Consulting experience with major clients on client sites, in either public or private sector
  • APMP, Prince2, MSP, Agile qualifications or comparable experience essential
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering projects and assignments in time pressured and complex technical, or intense stakeholder environments
  • Experience at delivering projects on behalf of a client, often mentoring client staff
  • Experience and delivery of the processes and products involved in successful project planning and implementation.
  • Demonstrating adaptability in the application of standard frameworks, managing multiple stakeholders and building relationships
