About the role

We manage vehicles, equipment and facilities on behalf of the London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police Service, New Dimension, Highways Agency and Associated British Ports, managing vehicles, equipment, facilities and training. We are now actively recruiting for a Managed Service Operative for a permanent contract at 40 hours per week to provide a high level of service delivery to the customer in all areas of the Managed Service Centre operation.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to have experience in a customer facing/customer service role and be an intermediate user of Microsoft Office.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
  • Carry out diligently, all specified administrative tasks according to Managed Service Centre procedures, for example data entry, scheduling events, processing invoices and liaising with external/internal suppliers.
  • Ensure that telephone calls are dealt with promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure that new repair and maintenance jobs are progressed in line with contractual KPIs
  • Manage bookings with Fire Stations, as well as support other Babcock contracts routed through call lines, ensuring we support the operational requirements for across all 3 contracts
  • Ensure that all jobs are progressed throughout the shift in order and in line with KPIs
  • Manage defects in line with contractual requirements ensuring plans of actions are submitted and escalation process is adhered to.
  • Attend and participate in such training courses as deemed necessary

What else do I need to know?
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role and will also need to complete a medical assessment
