Role: Platform Engineer
Length: 3 months
Location: Newport
IR35: Outside of IR35
rate: £400-550 daily
My Newport based client is looking for a Platform Engineer to join them for a period of 3 months to provide services on their cloud hosting and automated infrastructure/operations, with the following skills;
* Terraform
* Ansible
*Infrastructure and operations, in particular with public cloud providers, ideally Amazon Web Services
*Monitoring and alerting within a container platform
*Detailed understanding of the challenges of deploying and monitoring distributed, event driven microservices
*Web and platform security, including security best practice and OWASP recommendations
*Building and maintaining automated build and deployment pipelines, ideally using Concourse CI
*Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary agile environment
