Job Details

Operation STOVEWOOD is the largest investigation into non-recent child sexual exploitation (CSE) undertaken by law enforcement. The NCA is leading on this major independent investigation into non-familial child sexual exploitation and abuse in Rotherham, South Yorkshire and we are growing the team to ensure that we continue to focus on the needs of the victims and survivors and drive forward our enquiries as quickly as we can. 

The main responsibilities of this role is to provide a professional typing service to Major Incident Rooms, copy typing, transcribing audio/video interviews and general clerical duties. This will include undertaking word processing/ audio duties in connection with files, statements and reports, proof-reading documentation and making any necessary amendments and providing full transcripts from audio or video courses of significance witnesses and offenders in accordance with the Prosecution Team Manual of guidance and the Major Incident Room Standardisation Administration procedures 

The successful applicant will have proven typing skills, administrative/organisational skills with the ability to multitask, experience of effective time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Experience Criteria

Qualifications

• RSA Level II or equivalent typing/ keyboard skills 
• Accredited or provable audio typing skills/ qualifications
