VDI Consultant
Duration: 6-12 months
Clearance: SC
Location: London
You are a VDI Consultant with commercial experience in designing and implementing large scale (1000+ virtual desktops) VDI environments for corporate environments.
Key Experience/Skills:
- VMware Horizon View 6.x or newer
- VMware vCenter 5.x or newer
- App Volumes 2.x
- User Environment Manager 9.x
- Windows 7 or newer
- Microsoft Office 2010 or newer
- Multi datacentre VMware Horizon View designs and implementation
- Disaster Recovery for VMware Horizon View
- Desktop Image maintenance and management for VDI environments
- Delivery and implementation of Nutanix Hyper-Converged solutions
- Be able to perform VDI and application assessments with either Liquidware Labs Stratusphere or Lakeside Systrack
- Lead subject-matter expert workshops
- Architect and document VDI designs
- Be customer facing
- Self-motivated and independent worker
Desirable Skills:
- Storage solutions (e.g. NetApp)
- Load balancing solutions (e.g. NetScaler)
- Design and implementation of Citrix technologies
- Office 365
