Application Support & Development Analyst

An exciting opportunity to work on unique projects using the latest technologies. Working as part of a team, you will be involved in supporting & developing software applications to a high standard across a variety of projects. Working within a Software House with exposure to multiple sectors, you will be working on diverse and interesting projects.

You will be supporting on-going agile development projects. The development will build upon a bespoke capability built specifically for the customer, and incorporate a diverse range of new functionality. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Experience providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support
• VB.NET
• Strong SQL Server 2012 or later experience including Reporting Services
• Experience of web services, SOAP/XML
• Experience of build management and release processes
• Knowledge of SQL & Powershell scripting
• SC Clearance or abeto obtain it

The role requires someone with excellent technical skills as well as having an aptitude for delivering services in a customer facing role. Whilst this role is predominately a Technical Support role, it requires individuals to have a good understanding of application development principles and to have experience of development, maintenance and deployment of software.
