Senior Engine Design Engineer - Road Cars

This client is looking for a Senior Engine Design engineer to be part of their R&D team based in Germany.

Location: near Dusseldorf, Germany

Rate: Open, negotiable depending on experience

Duration: Initial 6-months contract (possibility of extension upon completion of this initial period)

Start date: ASAP

Hours per week: 40 hours per week

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for checking conceptual drawings and 3D models to ensure the best outcome
• Create and lead concept studies and related assembly designs
• Project management and other related duties leading the design of motorsport and advanced road car engines

The successful candidate will:

• Have a Masters or Bachelor's Degree in automotive, mechanical engineering (or other related discipline)
• Be experienced working in similar high-end environments and previous exposure to manufacturing techniques will be very advantageous
• Experienced with Catia V5 and Teamcenter
• Knowledge of Catia FEA module
• Knowledge of KISSsoft gear calculations tool will be a huge plus
