Software Developer – Java – SC clearable

My client are looking for talented software developers and mid, senior and lead level who are confident with Java and are able and interested in working with additional frameworks, programming languages and technologies rapidly to work in a dynamic, cutting edge environment.

You will sit in a teams that are responsible for the entire software lifecycle, they operate in a language agnostic environment where it’s about the best long term solution as supposed to the quickest fix – this ethos promotes collaboration and innovation!

Your day to day Responsibilities will include: 

• Work collaboratively with the Development team.
• Communicate regularly with on and offshore teams.
• Implement new features of their system from initial design through to delivery.
• Work with users and product management to define what they want, what they need and what we can deliver.
• Find opportunities for continuous improvements to their system.
• Fix issues and rework code, monitors and alerts for high stability.
• Learn and apply nest practices across the entire stack.

You will have the following skills: 

• Java 8
• JEE stack experience (JCA, JMS, JSF)
• SQL experience (oracle or any major DBMS)
• Unit testing frameworks experience (Junit, Mockito or similar)
• Configuration management and deployment automation experience (Chef, puppet, ansible)
• Full SDLC
• Spring
• Hibernate

Additional notes: 

Due to the nature of role, we require you to either hold or be eligible to achieve SC or DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years for SC and 10 years for DV.
