Role Summary/Purpose:
    An opportunity has arisen to join a highly diverse team at site where you will find a dynamic, research driven environment within the Avionics team as an operator.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ability to assemble Avionics units
  • Ability to fit through Avionics components by hand
  • Ability to strip, crimp and route wires in line with current processes and build manuals
  • Ability to read all engineering drawings and interpret them
  • Ability to do pre-production work with limited drawings and instructions
  • Ability to understand and follow drawings and instructions and interpret these
  • Ensure tools and fixtures are fit for purpose and calibrated
  • Continue to process improvements
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards
  • Apply with health and safety policies and quality procedures (Including COSHH and ASEN9100) standard
  • Assist in other areas of manufacturing when required and trained to do so
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • General electronics and mechanical assembly work
  • Ability to regconise and identify components
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and instructions
  • Good concentration and attention to detail
  • Able to produce work of high quality
  • Dextrous and able to work on small products
  • A flexible and co-operative approach
  • Appreciation of health and safety practice in the workplace
