Data Manager x 4, Ministry of Defence, up to £378/Day

Our client, the Ministry of Defence, are seeking a Data Manager x 4, to join them at RAF Wyton, Huntingdon PE28 2EA

Team: MOD//MOD Core//JFC//Director Information Systems Services

Initial contracts will run for 13 months and offer a rate up to £378/Day.

IR35 STATUS:  Inside IR35 legislation. Candidates would be required to operate through an umbrella company on this engagement.

This role requires Active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance. Applicants require active DV clearance or the willingness to go through clearance before starting on site. Candidates with current clearance will be preferred.

Role Summary

• Interpret the data requirements of the analyst and understand how to assist the analyst to ingest, sometimes complex, data sources into the structured data repository.
• To search for errors, incorrect entries, anomalies and duplicate entries.
• To correct errors and delete entities and duplicates – that belong to their organisation – (within their area of responsibility). • to elevate issues and call upon technical advice and liaise with other data managers and IPS Technical Support to resolve issues.
• To use the iBase data ingestion & management tools.
• To export data safely and securely for sharing with other systems and for use in analytical products.
• Training: Standard User Course Qualified - (Acquired within 3 months of selection/appointment) Data Manager Course Qualified – (Acquired within 3 months of selection/appointment)

Previous experience required:

• Intelligence Analyst
• Data Manager – Highly Desirable
• IT Security

Desirable

• UK Intelligence/ISR Community experience
• Familiar with Ibase/ ms SQL
• Desirable Conversant with i2 ANB, PALANTIR or similar system

Candidate Eligibility
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 – General visas cannot be accepted.
