IT Project Officer/Manager
Location: HMS Raleigh, Torpoint
Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum


About the role
Here at Babcock we're looking to recruit an IT Project Officer/Project Manager on a permanent, full time basis. You will be running a variety of IT and training support projects that will include technology refreshes and the use of IT equipment across various sites.

You will be supporting the Senior Project Manager and IS Manager on projects and IT support activities, which will include technical 1st/2nd line support, coordinating the disposal of redundant training equipment, supervising the handover of new training equipment and managing hardware/software deployment.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to be experienced in both IT support and project coordination/management. Key skills will include:
  • Previous experience fault finding, diagnosing and maintaining IT systems; as well as working knowledge of Windows based products
  • Project management qualification i.e. Prince2, PMP
  • Experience managing change within an IT environment

What else do I need to know?
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role
  • You must have a full driving licence as there will be some travel involved across Devon and Cornwall
