About the role

Here at Babcock International we are looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join our team based at RAF Wyton, Cambridgeshire who are responsible for supporting the Armed Forces with a variety of supporting services.

You will be part of a team that has vast experience in aviation support who provide professionally competent specialist aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance to our many clients.

We are looking for a Administrator to support our stores function who are responsible for incoming and outgoing materials needed in our day to day operation. This will include the vetting, ordering and processing of stock ranging from stationary to exotic materials including agency fuel cards and validation of transactions against invoices.

What skills will be needed?

  • Must be computer literate with demonstrable experience using MS office including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Must be able to work on your own initiative.

What else do I need to know?

  • 8 - 4.30 Mon - Friday
  • Will have to attend MoD training courses away from home - 1 x 8 working days / 1 x 10 working days
